A lot of people didn’t want to look. They didn’t want to see it because that could be them in a few years from now. So they just walked by and paid no attention, they pretended that they didn’t see. They wanted to separate themselves from that person: “I’m not going to be like that”. 
Some people just turned their heads. I think a lot of people got embarrassed. They are just too embarrassed. They wanted to ignore it. Ignore it and it will go away.
